About Us — PassThe100
Our Story

We believe passing your
civics test should be simple.

PassThe100.com is a free educational resource that helps immigrants prepare for the U.S. naturalization civics interview — in plain English, with no legal jargon and no unnecessary complexity.

🇺🇸

Making citizenship prep accessible to everyone

The U.S. naturalization civics test covers 100 official questions. During your interview, an officer will ask up to 10 of them — and you need to answer 6 correctly to pass.

That sounds simple. But for many immigrants, finding clear, trustworthy, free preparation materials is harder than it should be. Too many sites bury the content behind paywalls, clutter it with ads, or explain things in ways that assume you already understand the U.S. system.

PassThe100 exists to fix that. Every question, every answer, and every explanation is free — always.

FAQ
Is PassThe100.com really free?

Yes. Every one of the 100 official USCIS civics questions and their answers is free to access and practice on this site — no account, no login, no paywall. We do offer optional paid study guides (printable PDFs, audio packs, flashcard sets) that go beyond the basics, but the core quiz content will always be free.

Are these the exact questions from the USCIS interview?

Yes. The 100 questions on this site are the official civics questions published by USCIS for the naturalization test. The USCIS officer will ask you up to 10 of these questions during your interview. You need to answer at least 6 correctly to pass. We recommend cross-checking with the official USCIS study materials at uscis.gov as well.

Do I need to memorize all 100 questions?

Yes — the officer can ask any of the 100 questions, so you should be prepared to answer all of them. However, some questions have multiple acceptable answers (for example, naming one of two senators from your state), and some questions change based on where you live. The most important thing is to practice until you can answer any of the 100 confidently.

Are you affiliated with USCIS or the U.S. government?

No. PassThe100.com is a fully independent educational website. We are not affiliated with USCIS, the Department of Homeland Security, or any government agency. We do not provide immigration legal advice. The civics question content is sourced from publicly available USCIS study materials.

Will you add Spanish content?

Yes — Spanish is on our roadmap. The civics test itself is conducted in English (with limited exceptions), but we plan to add Spanish translations of our explanations and study guides to help Spanish-speaking learners prepare more effectively. Subscribe to our email list to be notified when Spanish content launches.
